Summer is finally upon us and beating the heat means getting wet! Fortunately, our area is home to so many wonderful pools! We’ve compiled the list below for 9 of the best pools in our 5 counties. The biggest news for 2023: The Bloomsburg Town Pool is FINALLY ready for swimming after being closed for 6 long years!

Norris E. Rock Memorial Pool (Bloomsburg Town Pool)
We sat down with Ron Pratt, Community Involvement Coordinator for the Bloom Town Pool (as well as Director of Operations for Sunbury Pool/Playground), who gave us the inside scoop on all the new and improved facilities and amenities!
Ron says: “the biggest difference people will notice is the overall shape of the pool. The pool was a long rectangle shape with the baby pool located outside in another area. Now it is all located in one centralized area. […] The Bloomsburg Pool has catapulted itself into a “staycation” destination for the residents of Columbia County. […] The town council along with so many other people like Lisa Dooley (town manager) have committed themselves to the town of Bloomsburg by ensuring that this pool became a foundation for the town again.”
