Heller Orchards 34th Annual Apple Festival
Come enjoy a fun filled weekend of Orchard Life! Located on Route 239 between Mocanaqua and Nescopeck, the family-owned orchard celebrated 100 years of operation in 2019. The festival will include craft and food vendors, activities, and games. Heller Orchards have expanded parking options this year to accommodate more people, and admission is FREE! Come enjoy the beautiful orchard on both Saturday and Sunday (October 15 and 16) and all the fun there is to be had there!

✨Harry Potter Day
Bloomsburg Children’s Museum will hold a Harry Potter Day: “I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good” on October 15 from 10am-1pm. Dive into the world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts. Students can take their own Potions Class, Broom Lessons, and Muggle Studies. Make sure to grab your wand and your wizard robe for Horcrux Hunting, Quiddich Matches, and many more Harry Potter themed activities. Register online, admission is $7/person.

Pumpkin Carving Contest / Pumpkin Painting
Rohrbach’s is holding two coinciding events on Saturday, October 15, including a Pumpkin Carving Contest from 9am-3pm and Pumpkin Painting for kids from 10am-2pm. Those choosing to enter the carving contest must be 18 years or older, and there is a registration fee ($25/online, $35/at the event). There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! While the contest is happening, there is a kids area for children of all ages. There is a registration fee of $5, which includes the pumpkin and all painting supplies. Adults must supervise children. This day will be a pumpkin filled extravaganza not to be missed!


Teen Pumpkin Decorating Contest ️
Older kids can test their creativity this fall! The Milton Public Library is hosting a Teen Pumpkin Decorating Contest, open to students in Grades 6-12. Beginning on October 15, free pumpkins can be picked up at the library. Teens are able to bring them home and decorate them as they please, as long as they are brought back to the library by October 19. The voting will happen from October 19-26 and winners will be announced October 27. Pumpkins were generously donated by Kohls Stony Hill Tree Farm (also an awesome place to heck out for fun fall activities!)
36th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Ol’ Country Barn
The Ol’ Country Barn is a small, family owned shop in Benton that sells crafts, antiques and collectibles. Each year they host their Annual Pumpkin Festival, which will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16 from 10am to 5pm, rain or shine! The event features FREE parking and FREE admission, and will have live entertainment from Boots and Bangs on Saturday and Chris Shrive on Sunday. The fan-favorite free hayride will be happening both days- take a hayride through the scenic countryside to our pumpkin patch where you may purchase a pumpkin for a nominal fee. There will be a variety of food options and vendors, as well as a benefit to support “Rescue Pets Serving Vets”.
Halloween Havoc Demolition Derby and Trunk or Treat ️
If your family enjoys cars and trucks of all kinds, then this event is for you! Hosted at the Lycoming County Fair Grounds in Hughsville, there will be a wide range of classes and types of cars being destroyed in their last ride, including Power Wheels, youth, mild, and bumper swap compact cars, and more! They will also be hosting a trunk or treat. Event happening on Saturday, October 15, rain date is Sunday, October 16; gates open at 7am, show starts at 1pm. Cost is $20/all access; $10/kids ages 5-11. Enjoy a wild day with des-truck-tion galore!
Hallo-Fun Character Breakfasts
Upcoming at Knoebels on October 16, 23, and 30, come and fill up on fun and an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT breakfast buffet with Kozmo and friends! A FREE photo is included for each group. Menu includes Scrambled Eggs, French Toast Sticks, Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, Creamed Chipped Beef, Fried Diced Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, Biscuits, Assorted Cereal, Homemade Desserts and Beverages!
