In this week-long workshop with Teacher Ruth, we will learn the basics of the two main kinds of felting: needle
felting and wet felting. By using wool fibers and friction, participants will be able to create textiles and functional or
art objects. Needle felting can be used to create 2-dimensional “paintings” or 3-dimensional objects such as small
animals, and wet felting can be used to create wearable accessories such as scarves or useful objects such as
baskets and pouches. What you create will be up to you!
