In honor of our hometown, we are rounding up ways to affordably enjoy the famous Bloomsburg Fair! Below we’ve summarized ways to save on admission & ride tickets, FREE entertainment highlights, livestock schedules – including mutton busting, and more. Bloomsburg Fair Admission
Here are some Bloomsburg Fair Admission tips:
- Friday, September 23 is Preview Day, which means admission is reduced from $8/person to $3/person. Fair Gates open at 2pm.
- If you have early risers, the fair is open at 7am with hardly any foot traffic.
- General admission on all days of the fair is free for children 12 and under!
- Monday, September 26 is Seniors Day: 65 and older admitted for free with valid ID. This is a great day for kids to bond with their grandparents or other senior relatives!
- Tuesday, September 27 and Friday, September 30 are Student Days: ages 13-18 admitted for free.
- On September 27, $1 of each $8 admission ticket purchased is donated to Ronald McDonald House of Danville, if you are looking to support a nonprofit in our area❤️.
- Save on admission: Advance Gate Tickets are $7/each instead of $8 for people age 13 and older. Packet of 8 tickets costs $48, making each ticket $6 and saving 25% on regular price. In addition, if your family really enjoys the fair and plans to visit multiple times, the option of a week-long badge pass is available, $35/per person ages 13 and up for the full 9 days of the fair.

Bloomsburg Fair FREE Stage Entertainment
Each day of the fair there are multiple shows happening at the Free Stage. From musical artists and bands, to dance performances, comedy shows, bible services, contests and more! Our very own Directory Member, Karen Gronsky School of Dance, will be having a performance on Sunday, October 1st
Bloomsburg Fair: Rides

If your children enjoy rides, you should consider purchasing an Amusements of America Ride Voucher ahead of time online. You can purchase up to 12 online ride tickets at $16.25/ticket. Your ticket will be redeemed for a handstamp to be utilized for ONE DAY of unilimited rides. If you purchase the unlimited ride handstamp at the fair, the cost is listed as $20/ticket.

All Star Barnyard Review (September 23-October 1; shows at 12:00, 3:00, & 5:00). A show featuring all miniature barnyard animals in a display that is educational and entertaining.
I Blew It! Lanny Lee (September 24, 25, 30, October 1; 12:00-4:00). A fun show featuring balloon animals and other critters.
Johnny Rocketts Cycle Circus Live (September 23-October 1, 3shows daily). The largest FMX freestyle entertainment show of its kind in the world today by combining the top action sports athletes in the world and the theatrics of the cycle circus.
Zoo Much Fun (September 23- October 1; 2:30-7:30). Award-winning performers, dressed in various animal costumes, trying to make the community a better place!
Bloomsburg Fair: FREE Livestock Entertainment

Have you heard of Mutton Busting?! They put children on sheep (with a helmet), and see how long they can stay on. This happens at the Bloomsburg Fair in the Bissinger Apple Dumplings Outdoor Ring!
