We are back with another part of our Spring Sports Guide (Round 3 will most likely be coming as more information becomes available!) to give you team options, sign up deadlines, and other pertinent details you need to get your kids playing whatever sport(s) they choose! In case you missed Round 1, you can view it here, especially if you don’t see your sport listed below. Here is our second list of spring sports signups, stay tuned for more updated information in the coming weeks.
HEALTHY KIDS RUNNING SERIES:
Registration is now open for Healthy Kids Running Series is a 5 week running program in the spring (and fall) for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week on Sundays and offers age appropriate running events.
Online Early Bird registration is $40.00 and then increases to $45.00 three weeks prior to the first race event. Runs take place at Streater Field (1285 W Fort McClure Blvd, Bloomsburg).
Series runs April 23-May 21 (Sundays).

♀️GIRLS ON THE RUN:
Girls on the Run is a girl-empowerment organization that designs programs intended to strengthen 3rd to 8th grade girls social, emotional, physical and behavioral skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Bloomsburg has a Memorial and W.W. Evans Team.
Team meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-5:00pm at W.W. Evans Elementary.

DANVILLE YOUTH BOYS LACROSSE:
The organization is still trying to build a youth organization for the boys in grades 3rd-8th. Teams are split into 3 groups: 3rd/4th grades, 5th/6th grades, and 7th/8th grades.
This is NOT a guaranteed season and will depend HIGHLY on parents helping to volunteer to help with fundraising and coaching. Open to students from any school/district.
